19th February, 1976
I arrived at this place 115 days ago, and this morning I thought that I couldn't stand this situation one more day. However my pessimistic attitude has changed.
When I woke up this morning I though that the day would be as usual. Moreover I was very dejected because after the last storm, I had lost all my possessions. The only thing that I could recover was my knife and my notebook because I had protected them. Besides I lost my illusion to exist, I thought that the life didn’t have any sense.
But while I was having breakfast my coconut, as every day, I listened to a strange noise, but familiar. From that moment my purpose changed, that noise was wonderful, that was a plane!
I started to wave my t-shirt in the air during the time that the plane was visible, and after it disappeared.
Now I am very nervous and I have the expectation that they have seen me. I hope that in few days I can be at home writing the success of the rescue…
