The insecurity in the airplanes
In the last forty years, some terrorist actions have been perpetrated in planes and airports. However it was not until S-11 that to travel by plane has happened to be pleasant to unsafe.
The last terrorist plan consisted to introduce inside the aeroplanes explosive liquid prepared to exploit in full flight. This terrorist event demonstrates that another attack can be imminent. For this reason, the security controls have increased in all airports.
Even so, the company British Airways has announced the finding of radioactive remains in two passenger’s planes of her fleet. This incident means that 33.000 passengers have been able to travel in some of 221 flights that these planes have made.
These events demonstrate that although many security measures exist; always the terrorists will be able to use the aeroplanes as way to kill and terrify the western population.

very interesting post and you write about a current issue.
The security controls in airports, as you write, have been increased, but I don't think this will be the solution to the problem, I think this is a patch, an expensive and thorny patch.
Why don't they invert this amount of money in solve the problem in the bud?
I think this is not the way to solve the terrorism problem, they are spending large quantities of money and probably it will not be hardly useful.
Now we can not take liquids with us, but if you buy it in an airport shop you can. Of course, it is very expensive in the airport shops.
I don't know, but when it begins to be so many restrictions, maybe the system is not the best.

- have realized. (to realize is a false friend. Look for a more appropriate verb!)
- that although exist many security measures
You should say:

-until S-11
